Ministry use policy
Use the songs. Serve people. Respect the work.
Lift & Light is ministry first. We want ordinary church use to be simple while protecting the songs and recordings from commercial misuse.
Normally permitted
- Sing approved Lift & Light songs in regular worship services.
- Display approved lyrics on church screens.
- Use approved lyric/worship videos during services.
- Use approved backing or instrumental tracks when specifically provided for that purpose.
- Use songs in prayer, altar ministry, discipleship, youth, family, and similar non-commercial ministry settings.
- Include ordinary worship-service performances in non-commercial church livestreams and archived service videos.
- Print reasonable quantities of approved lyric/chord resources for internal worship-team use.
Attribution
Where practical, credit the song title, Rammel Larrobis as writer, Lift & Light as artist, and Lift & Light Music as the presenting label/imprint.
Ask first for these uses
- Commercial advertising or paid brand campaigns.
- Film, television, documentary, game, or other commercial sync use.
- Resale or redistribution of Lift & Light recordings or master WAV files.
- Uploading the official masters as another artist's release.
- Commercial compilation albums, remixes, sampling, sublicensing, or merchandise using substantial lyrics/artwork.
- Major lyric rewrites or published translated adaptations.
YouTube & livestreams
This choice is intended to reduce avoidable copyright claims against churches using the songs in good-faith ministry. Turning Content ID off does not give up copyright ownership.
Master recordings
Permission to sing a composition does not mean permission to redistribute the official master recording. Do not download, re-upload, sell, or redistribute Lift & Light master audio unless expressly permitted.

The ministry-first principle
If a normal church or ministry use clearly serves worship, prayer, discipleship, encouragement, or pastoral ministry and does not commercially exploit the work, Lift & Light should prefer a simple, ministry-friendly solution.
